Participation
- By sharing our campaign, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- There is no monetary obligation to participate.
Tree Planting
- For each registration and share of our campaign, we will plant one native tree.
- One per person regardless of how many social media shares
- Trees will be planted in large-scale managed projects, primarily on private property unless otherwise stated.
- All planted areas will be protected by covenant where possible.
Project Registration
- Our projects will be registered with carbon credit schemes such as Open Forest Protocol (OFP).
- This registration ensures transparency and verification of our planting efforts.
Allocation of Funds
- A percentage of funds generated from carbon credits will be reinvested into planting more trees and project management.
Updates and Information
- Participants will receive regular updates via email and through our blog at The Seed Hunter website.
- Updates will include information about the mapped location of your tree and forest growth progress.
- Participants can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email or by contacting us
Monitoring
- All projects are monitored through the Open Forest Protocol or similar systems for transparency and accountability.
Ownership
- Participants do not gain any ownership rights to the trees or land.
- The tree planted in your name is symbolic and does not confer any legal rights.
Duration
- We commit to maintaining the planted trees for a minimum of 50 years, subject to natural disasters and unforeseen circumstances.
Carbon Credits
- Any carbon credits generated belong to the project and will not be allocated to individual participants.
Data Privacy
- By participating, you consent to us storing and using your contact information for the purpose of sending updates about the campaign.
- Your information will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Liability
- We are not liable for any damages or losses incurred as a result of participating in this campaign.
Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
- Any changes will be communicated through our website and email notifications.
Termination
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend this promotion at any time without prior notice.
Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

- Participation in this campaign does not constitute a financial investment.
- The long-term success of the project is dependent on continued funding and support, which cannot be guaranteed indefinitely.
- By participating in this campaign, you acknowledge and agree that Seed Hunter Tribe Trust and its affiliates, partners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if Seed Hunter Tribe Trust has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) your participation in this campaign; (ii) the planting, growth, or maintenance of trees; (iii) any changes in carbon credit schemes or environmental regulations; (iv) any natural disasters, climate events, or other circumstances beyond our control that may affect the trees or forests; (v) any discrepancies in updates, information, or data provided; or (vi) any decision or action taken by you in reliance upon the information provided through this campaign. Seed Hunter Tribe Trust reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time without notice or liability. This campaign is provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied.
